On trial by jury, the plaintiffs recovered a verdict for $87,003, damages for breach of a contract between the parties plaintiff and defendant for the installation by the plaintiffs, at the wood-acid plant of defendant, of a certain process for the extraction of acetic acid from pyroligneous acid.
