This is an action of ejectment, brought in the United States District Court for Porto Rico, to recover the possession of certain land claimed by the plaintiff, of which he alleges the defendant had dispossessed him, and for damages. The plaintiff is a citizen of the United States, domiciled in Porto Rico; the defendant is a subject of the king of Spain, who resides and has his domicile in Spain; and the amount involved exceeds $3,000.
