This was an action brought by libelant to recover $15,500 for coal and supplies furnished the steamer American Star, in October and November, 1920, at Barbadoes, British West Indies. The American Star Line, Inc., hereinafter called the company, entered into an agreement on December 24, 1919, with the United States Shipping Board for the purchase of the steamer.
