Plaintiff in error, defendant below, brings this writ of error to review a judgment entered against it on the pleadings. The action was upon a policy of insurance issued by defendant upon the life of plaintiff's husband. It was brought in the state district court of Sedgwick county, Kan., but was duly removed on the ground of diversity of citizenship.
