This is a suit on a bond conditioned to pay vessel demurrage. The case was tried to the court without a jury, the right to such jury trial having been waived. The cause was submitted for decision, which we were then asked to withhold, pending a dispute whether the penal sum of the bond had been reduced. The evidence of this is all to be found in the written correspondence of the parties. The suggestion was made that it be agreed that the letters be incorporated...
