The widow of Francis W. Allen, suing as his administratrix, brought this action under the Federal Employers' Liability Act to recover damages for the loss sustained by his death when in the employ of the Philadelphia & Reading Railway Company. 35 Stat. 65, Comp. St. §§ 8657-8665. She had a verdict. The case is here on the defendant's writ of error.
