The United States filed a bill in equity against the Shelby Iron Company to quiet the title to a tract of about 15 acres of land. The bill traces title from the Iron Company to the Shelby Chemical Company by a deed which misdescribes the grantor, and from the Chemical Company to the United States. The defense of the Iron Company is that it was entitled to a reconveyance of the land from the Chemical Company by virtue of a contract between them...
