The four plaintiffs in error, together with one Fleck and one Berner, were jointly indicted upon a charge of conspiracy, under section 37 of the Penal Code (Comp. St. § 10201), to violate the National Prohibition Act (Comp. St. Ann. Supp. 1923, § 10138¼) by transporting to the premises known as the Green Valley Inn (located a few miles beyond the city limits of Cleveland) intoxicating liquors and distilled spirits of forbidden...
