When the railroad lines and other properties of the International & Great Northern Railroad Company were placed by the court below in the hands of a receiver in 1908, in a mortgage foreclosure suit, that company owed certain debts to a bank which thereafter were assigned to one of the appellees, the Concrete Investment Company, which is herein referred to as the Concrete Company.
