Receivers in equity were appointed for the appellant on August 17, 1923, on a creditors' bill filed in the District Court. The bill of complaint alleged that the appellant was indebted to the complainant in upwards of $3,000 and that it owed other sums to creditors in excess of $2,015,000. It alleged that it had assets more than sufficient to meet its obligations and was solvent but temporarily financially...
