Thomas A. Costello is a pay clerk in the United States navy, with the rank of warrant officer, stationed at the Naval Operating Base, Hampton Roads, Va. On September 16, 1924, he was brought to trial on a charge of embezzlement before a general court-martial convened at the Naval Operating Base by order of the Secretary of the Navy, was found guilty, and sentenced to serve three years in the naval prison at Portsmouth, N. H. Pending action...
