Whatley, upon a series of notes as follows: One for $1,300, dated December 9, 1919, executed by Staley and his said wife in favor of one Frank Mann, secured by vendor's lien upon certain real property in the city of Vernon, Wilbarger county, Tex., which had been acquired by plaintiff; and, second, upon a demand note in the principal sum of $7,452.52, dated June 10...
