The indictment in the instant case was presented against the defendant on the 19th day of October, 1923. It contains two counts, charging the defendant with violations of the Act of December 17, 1914, as amended, otherwise known as the "Harrison Anti-Narcotic Act." Comp. St. 1918, Comp. St. Ann. Supp. 1919, Comp. St. Ann. Supp. 1923, § 6287g et seq.
