Blake, a nonresident of the state of Florida, had conveyed to him by warranty deed in the year 1887 a certain 40 acres of land in Orange county, Fla., which deed of conveyance was duly recorded in the public records of said county under date of July 8, 1887; that thereafter, in the year 1903, said land was sold to the state of Florida for nonpayment of taxes for the...
