Appellee brought this suit against appellants Winford and Wineman to quiet title to an island known as Island 87 in the Mississippi River on the Arkansas side in Chicot County. Appellant Chambers was permitted to intervene as a defendant. The complaint alleged that the island had contained between 400 and 500 acres, but by accretions and recession of the waters it had increased in area. It was admitted that Winford and Wineman owned 50 acres...
