This is an action brought by the plaintiff in error upon a policy of insurance issued by the defendant. On the trial the insurance company had a verdict upon which judgment was entered, and the Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia having affirmed it, (16 App. Cas. D.C. 241,) the plaintiff has brought the case here. The policy was for $5000 on the plaintiff's stock...
