On the 3d of March, 1882, Judah Hart obtained a judgment, in the Circuit Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Louisiana, against the City of New Orleans, for $121,697.18, with 5 per cent. per annum interest thereon until paid, and costs, in a suit commenced by him in the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, and State of Louisiana, against the city, to recover the amount of sundry...
