The practical question involved in this case is one of easy solution. It is this: "When did the right of pre-emption, under the fifth section of the act of September 20th, cease?" Manifestly, after four months from the location of the lands. It is argued that Gee's right was at an end if he did not prove his claim within four months from the location...
