¶ 1 Respondents are 11 pipe fitters (the pipe fitters) who are former employees of appellant/cross-respondent Fluor Federal Services, Inc. (Fluor), a company with operations on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation near the Tri-Cities. The pipe fitters prevailed at trial on their claims of wrongful discharge in violation of public policy based on their allegations that they were discharged for raising safety concerns or supporting those who did so.
