Appellant Jose Leija Castellon, Jr., was indicted for theft of property valued at $20,000 or more but less than $100,000.1 A jury convicted him of the offense and assessed punishment, enhanced by evidence of a prior conviction for burglary of a habitation, at fifteen years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000.
