Richard Dickerson ("the Defendant") was convicted by a jury of second degree murder. The trial court sentenced the Defendant to twenty-five years' incarceration. In this direct appeal, the Defendant contends that the trial court (1) should have granted a mistrial following "jury misconduct"; (2) erred in admitting proof of prior bad acts; and (3) imposed an excessive sentence.
