[¶ 1.] Paul Madetzke pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery, for which he was sentenced as a habitual offender to imprisonment for 25 years. Madetzke did not appeal his conviction or sentence; instead, he later petitioned for a writ of habeas corpus. The habeas court denied relief, and Madetzke now appeals that decision...
