{¶ 1} No employer shall discharge an employee because the employee filed a claim or participated in a proceeding under the workers' compensation act for an injury or occupational disease that occurred in the course of and arising out of employment. R.C. 4123.90. That statute places certain time-specific obligations on a discharged employee who wishes to sue an employer for discharging him or her for filing a workers' compensation...
