I. Introduction

{¶ 1} This is an appeal from the judgment of the Wood County Court of Common Pleas, following a jury trial, convicting appellant Christopher Kurek of assault on a peace officer in violation of R.C. 2903.13(A) and (C)(3), a felony of the fourth degree, and sentencing him to 17 months in prison. We affirm.
