{¶1} On May 28, 2010, appellant, William Scheffer, Jr., took his motorcycle to Edison Billiard and Cycle for repair. The repair shop was owned by appellee, Jeffrey Taylor. The motorcycle had been previously altered to enhance performance. Following completion of the repairs, appellant test-drove the motorcycle and paid the repair bill.
