This action began as an attempt by Plaintiff CCU LLC (henceforth, "CCU" or "Plaintiff") to collect a debt allegedly owed by Defendant Alexander Steier (henceforth, "Steier" or "Defendant"). A default judgment was entered against Steier in October of 2005. Thereafter, Plaintiff began enforcement through garnishment of Defendant's salary.
