Defendant waived indictment and agreed to be prosecuted by a superior court information charging him with six theft-related crimes. He pleaded guilty to forgery in the second degree and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree in satisfaction thereof. He also waived his right to appeal. Thereafter, in accordance with the terms of the plea agreement, defendant was sentenced as a second felony offender to concurrent terms of 2½ to 5 years in prison...
