In this medical malpractice case, the plaintiff Herbert Noler is claiming that his orthopedic surgeon Dr. Steven Stuchin departed from accepted standards of medical and surgical care by administering to him, prophylactically, the antibiotic Clindamycin before and after his left total hip replacement on July 13, 2005. For several days after the surgery, Mr. Noler, who was then 78 years old, remained at the defendant hospital, New York University...
