In the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Leon Calloway, Petitioner, was convicted of second degree assault. The State's evidence was sufficient to establish that he committed that offense by inflicting life threatening injuries upon his son Gavin, who was born on September 16, 2005, and rushed to Shady Grove Hospital on September 28, 2005.
