PARRO, J.

The defendant, Bernard Griffin, was charged by bill of information with one count of possession of over 400 grams of cocaine, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(F)(1)(c), and pled not guilty. Following a jury trial, he was found guilty as charged. He was sentenced to twenty years of imprisonment at hard labor, with the first fifteen years of the sentence to be served without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. See...
