The defendant, Anthony Ashley, was convicted of aggravated kidnapping, attempted forcible rape, first degree robbery, and aggravated flight from an officer. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence on the conviction of aggravated kidnapping, 20 years at hard labor on the conviction of attempted forcible rape, 40 years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence...
