We granted this writ application to consider whether the lower courts erred in finding that the Commissioner of Insurance breached his fiduciary duty in conjunction with his role as liquidator of an insolvent insurance company, and whether the lower courts erred in finding that the Commissioner was not entitled to immunity pursuant to La. R.S. 9:2798.1. Because we find that Barbara Presley does not have a right of action, we reverse the decision...
