Fabian Gomez was convicted after a jury trial of voluntary manslaughter1 as a Class A felony and sentenced to forty years in the Department of Correction. He appeals, raising the following restated issues:

I. Whether the trial court properly allowed the State to amend the charging information ten months prior to trial; and II. Whether sufficient evidence was presented to support his conviction...
