Justice ZENOFF delivered the judgment of the court, with opinion.

¶ 1 Defendant, Stephen Sweigart, appeals from his conviction of child abduction (720 ILCS 5/10-5(b)(10) (West 2008)). He was charged with attempting to lure a child to his home from a grocery store. Defendant contends that the evidence was insufficient to prove him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, because there was not a "dangerous proximity of success" when the child's family...
