TAYLOR, J.

Defendant, Jason Terrell, appeals the summary denial of his motion for postconviction relief, which alleged ineffective assistance of counsel. Defendant originally alleged nine grounds for relief, but he has since abandoned two of those arguments on appeal. Because we find that two of the remaining claims required an evidentiary hearing, we reverse and remand for an evidentiary hearing as to those claims.
