Bernard Berrian left his personal electronic device, a Blackberry Curve, on an automated teller machine in Nevada. He returned to retrieve it several minutes later, but it was gone. Several weeks later, Berrian received word that information contained on the device would be sold to a third party unless he paid a substantial reward for the device's return. In January 2011, he brought this action against Ronald Jones...
