("Álvarez") brought suit against a bank whose successor is Banco Popular de Puerto Rico ("BPPR"), under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act ("RICO"), 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-68, as well as under several Puerto Rico law causes of action.
