Andrea Bjornestad suffered injuries in a motor vehicle accident and settled her claims against the at-fault driver. She then sought $75,000 from her own insurer, Progressive Northern Insurance Company (Progressive), an amount which represented the remaining limits of her underinsured motorist (UIM) coverage. When Progressive offered $25,000 to settle the UIM claim, Bjornestad brought suit asserting claims...
