The plaintiffs in this case are former nurses who worked in the health care unit of a privately run jail. They maintain that their employer, CCA of Tennessee LLC ("CCA"), subjected them to racial discrimination and a hostile work environment, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 42 U.S.C. § 1981.
