Jane Doe brought this action, by and through her parents, against the Broward County School Board ("the School Board") and Dr. Sam Scavella, former principal of her high school ("Scavella"), alleging that she was the victim of sexual harassment by her math teacher. Her complaint included claims under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 ("Title IX"), 20 U.S.C. § 1681 et. seq.,
