This case concerns two defendants and appellants, Carlos Dubose (Dubose) and Davion Whitmore (Whitmore). Dubose and Whitmore were minors at the time they committed the offenses at issue in this case, but they were charged and sentenced as adults. (Welf. & Inst. Code, § 707, subd. (d)(1).)
