The State appeals from an order of the circuit court dismissing the charges against respondent Julio C., as a sanction for the State's discovery violation. The two issues before this court are: (1) whether the State committed a discovery violation; and (2) whether the trial court's dismissal of the State's petition for adjudication of wardship of respondent was an abuse of discretion.
