This is an appeal from a jury verdict in favor of Respondents Jesus Hurtado and John Reitsma, d/b/a J & J Calf Ranch (J & J), against Appellants Land O'Lakes, Inc. and Land O'Lakes Purina Feed, LLC (Land O'Lakes). The jury awarded damages to J & J for the deaths of dairy heifer calves during the summer of 2005.
