This appeal arises from the resignation of a First Bank and Trust employee. The employee filed a motion for summary judgment asserting that the severance clause contained in his employment contract applied to his resignation. First Bank and Trust also filed a motion for summary judgment alleging that the severance clause applied to terminations, i.e., firings.
