The appellant, Ronald Slater Doucette, pleaded guilty to possession of a precursor substance with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance, a violation of § 13A-12-217, Ala.Code 1975; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a violation of § 13A-12-260, Ala.Code 1975. Doucette was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment for his conviction of possession of a precursor substance. That sentence was suspended, and Doucette was placed on five years...
