¶ 1 The school board of Tahlequah Public Schools dismissed career teacher Rocky Weston on grounds of instructional ineffectiveness and unsatisfactory teaching performance under the Teacher Due Process Act of 1990, 70 O.S. § 6-101.20, et seq. Weston sought a trial de novo under the Act and, after hearing the evidence, the district court of Cherokee County, Judge David Nelson, ordered Weston reinstated to his position.
