Sheridan Walker was indicted in the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico on charges of being a felon in possession of firearms and certain types of ammunition, see 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(2). He moved to suppress the evidence found in his home during a sweep by police officers, and the district court denied the motion.
