Sandra Boss sold 0.41 grams of heroin to a confidential informant in October 2004 and was subsequently charged with two counts of distributing heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(C), and 860, and one count of conspiring to distribute heroin, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846. She pled guilty to the two distribution counts, and the district court1 sentenced...
