Loren George Jennings, a former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, was convicted by a jury of mail fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1341, and money laundering, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1957. The district court2 sentenced Jennings to forty-eight months' imprisonment and ordered restitution and forfeiture of the funds that benefitted him personally...
