¶ 1 A jury convicted Jeremy King of one count of first degree child molestation and one count of first degree child rape. During the trial, King moved for a mistrial after a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigator referred to his status as a registered sex offender in violation of the trial court's order in limine excluding all references to King's prior sexual offenses. The trial court denied King's motion and later denied his post-trial motion...
